The Bronco Baseball Academy is hosting Weekend Skills Camps each month at Northgate High School in Walnut Creek, California to help area youth baseball players improve their baseball skills. The weekend skills camps focus on hitting, pitching, fielding, competition, and speed and agility and are designed for youth in grades 4-8. The camps are directed by Northgate baseball coaches, Jon Campopiano and Ben Campopiano and a 1 to 7 coach to player ratio is maintained to ensure all players receive maximum instruction.

The Oregon Garden will be participating in this years Le Tour des Plants. This event is organized by the Oregon Association of Nurseries and is a self-guided gardeners' excursion in Oregon and Southwest Washington.
Participating Gardens, specialty nurseries and garden centers all have events happening during the tour. The Le Tour des Plants guide and map is a free publication which is available at participating garden centers in early August. A number of Le Tour des Plants participants also participate in The Oregon Garden Members discount program.

For People of Color, Inc.--a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering people of color to enter the legal profession--is proud to announce that it will be holding its series of law school admissions workshops for the ninth consecutive year. These workshops have become increasingly popular over the years as they provide a comprehensive overview of the application process.
In this exhibit there are King Penguins and Gentoo Penguins. Eggs have recently hatched making the number of penguins rise. The Newport Aquarium is only one of two institutions to breed these penguins. The exhibit is a wintry wonderland, as the penguins must stay the same temperature as their natural climate.
