  • Legally Blonde, The Musical -

    It's here, and it's "AN ELLE OF A SHOW" (TIME Magazine). The hilarious MGM film has become a smash hit stage musical, and now LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL is celebrating its Los Angeles Premiere at the Pantages Theatre for four weeks only, August 12-September 6. LEGALLY BLONDE follows sorority star Elle Woods, an underestimated blonde who doesn't take "no" for an answer. When her boyfriend dumps her for someone more "serious," Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books, and sets out to go where no Delta Nu has gone before: Harvard Law.

  • Third Coast National 2009 - K Space Contemporary is pleased to announce a call for entries for the third installment of the Third Coast National exhibition. The Third Coast National is a non-thematic, juried exhibition of new works of art from all across the USA. Ths show will run from Oct.17 - Nov.20, 2009. Postmark deadline is August 1st. Eligibility: Artists age 18+ living in the USA may enter. All visual art forms accepted. Juror: Fairfax Dorn, Executive Director Ballroom Marfa Awards: Cash prizes, including the Erick Schaudies Memorial Art Award for Best of Show. Cash awards for 2nd and 3rd places.
  • Wave Shop -

    Wave Workshop recreates the habitat under the Golden Gate Bridge and teaches visitors how plants, animals and people adapt to such an environment. Children can try on costumes and act out underwater scenes in the "Under the Waves" room, or explore a sandy beach habitat in "Toddler Beach." Young engineers may also test fish and boat shapes in specially designed water and wind components in the main Wave Workshop room. Live animals in two saltwater tanks illustrate their adaptations to sandy and rocky habitats.
